The Pearl of Venice

 Welcome to the Pearl of Venice, the webhome of Signora Catalina Doro. Here you will find her work, research and thoughts.

Catalina's work is focused on the fashions and culture of Venice 1510-1530. She's created a number of  costumes 'from the skin out' based on period art and careful research. She also studies period fabrics and its production and use during the middle ages and renaissance. By going to the Projects page, you can see pictures of her works. The Research page has just that.
